Bringing this thread to moon ninja because I feel like it. If there's a duplicate someone just move this post there. Gonna start with a new version.
I switched the pocket clip to tip up carry, cus a bunch of BladeForums people were telling me about how tip up carry is like the greatest shit since sliced bread. Also the pocket clip looks kind of like a dick-and-balls, just cus I needed it to be symmetrical to be reversible. Also all the support pillars and the pivot point are now just Screw-pins, and the the handle-scale holes are threaded for them. Also the right mounting point for the pocket clip is not a screw pin, it's just a cylindrical outdent in the handle scale, to prevent the clip from pivoting around it's left mounting point. Also I took away the support pillar in the front, because it added needless complexity and fragility to the shape of the blade tang.
Also where the version before had a floated blade in the closed position (meaning even when folded the edge doesn't touch anything) this one has a bedded blade. That black rectangle you see in between the pocket clip mounting points is a nylon strip on which the edge rests. I think nylon was a choice material for this because it's tough enough that the blade won't cut through it when closed, but soft enough not to dull the edge when in contact.
The edge profile is also different in this version. It has approx. 2" straight edge now, and the the belly is more pronounced compared to the old version, were a gentle curve ran the full length of the edge. Also the whole thing is thinner than the old version. The point angle is the same though. Also the opening thumb whole is a tad bit smaller. Also as mentioned above, the tang doesn't have the weird ass cutouts for an overly complex locking/closing mech.
Finally, I figured if I'm gonna make it tip up carry, I may as well put on that funky Emerson wave opener thingy. I know it's copyright infringement, but it works really well in a knife like this, as its distance from the from the pivot point really gives it the leverage to fling that blade open. Also, it's a way to make the steeper thumb-ramp look more natural. Also I measured everything out and made the handle as short as possible, if you look at the nylon bed as an indication of where the tip lands, you can see that it just barely doesn't stick out the back of the knife when closed. Also I got rid of the tiny bullshit lanyard hole, I figure if it isn't big enough to hold 550 paracord it may as well not be there, and there's no space for it anyway.

Sorry if none of the links function, the bottom one at the very least should work.
