Mmmm… I suppose I will write this as close to how I may be thinking at the moment; probably some catharsis worming through and more than likely warranted. Why else should I find myself back here? What a Long Strange Trip It’s Been.
About a month or so ago I read an article on psychopathy, empathy, and emotions. The reading of this article is what I believe to have sparked a renewed interest in this place. I toyed with the idea of writing a piece and letting you guys/gals have a go at it… the drive just wasn’t quite there.
Last week I frequented the forum but saw nothing of interest… not sure why I thought today might be better “fishingâ€, but when one of the first posts claims “Virus the Autistic Bastardâ€â€¦ well, kismet?
Nah, just boredom… oh how it plagues the minds of these.
So, today I read some posts here and actually had a few ideas of my own (shocking I know!) to post… perhaps I am in need of narcissistic fuel and on the verge of a manic episode. Time will tell.
For the most part the ideas were completely pathetic (again shocking I know) and very much transparent in my desire to stir controversy and attention to myself…
But here were a few of the less obvious in intent and perhaps purely inquisitive…
If you had to lose one of your five senses… and the choice was yours, which sense and why?
Sometimes I chew my food like a Great White Shark just to empathize with such a creature… anyone?
But… for real…
Psychopathy, Emotions, and Empathy… it’s been discussed; the article I read inferred that those of a psychopathic nature have the ability to be exceptionally intuitive to the emotional effects of the emotions that the psychopathic individual has the ability to relate to. In other words, if the psychopathic individual relates to fear and pain… well, they REALLY get fear and pain. No two individuals ever being truly the same… which emotions a psychopathic individual may be intoned would greatly affect the types/degree of manipulations. Sadistic Narcissism has been discussed here as well… very different from white collar money schemes that wipe our older people investments… right? Yes… Sadism gets a two-for. It takes something and inflicts pain upon it, and then gets the satisfaction of seeing the pain caused to the one it took “the object†from. Basic manipulations where an individual just wants validation they exist is very much different than torment and pain just for the sake of torment and pain.

You're probably correct... Although not sure I see the shame (again, shocking). Having spent much time in therapy I understand "shame" is a trigger word for me. Words like this one have mixed up and confused value for me... It's negative in context which makes me feel funny inside... And not a good haha funny.
The epiphany being... Well epiphany being a truly strong word to use here, but the slightly better understanding into the mind of the manipulator. That was all. And a genuine desire to discuss.

Lurking being the word of your choosing, I had not been here in much longer than weeks when I came here last week for the first time "in a minute..." and saw nothing, then yesterday I come back to a 2 year old OP ranting about me... Coincidental as crap for sure but why question the forces that be?
