Life is chaos, where's the fun in everything being fine and dandy? Her brother runs the forum... it's not moderated, why should anyone care what she thinks? and if this forum were moderated it would lose the original purpose it was intended for.
You people seem to hold this child in such high esteem... simply because her brother's the one that provided it... could you guys grovel and kiss her ass any more? Truly... it's pathetic...
The forum wasn't done because we were on a time line. We had a couple weeks before the old forum exploded, and our plan is to continuously make updates forever or until the forum dies. You guys will see a pretty big update with a search feature pretty soon actually ^.^
We try to be as professional as possible, but I won't say I didn't fantasize about banning your account for being so mean. That being said, you're still here, so I guess I have a little professionalism :P
This forum will always have small bugs here and there, becasue we will forever be updating it, and adding new features, and stuff like that, and yes, I am 16 so you might find some bugs, but I'd say we're closer to professional than we are amature.
You say you learned all your development from google, but the thing about code is that if you get one little thing wrong, it all breaks, and unless you know the syntax perfectly, you will have troubles finding your errors in order to even learn. I was lucky enough to have my brother, but you make it sound like it's some little thing you can learn from google and it's really not. It's a language in itself, and the syntax has to be pefect. One misplaced ; and your entire program will error.
Types of code I've written.
Well I started writing basic HTML back when I was 13ish? I think that's when myspace started getting big... and you needed to learn all those neat little things they could, do... I later helped a friend develope a page which required javascript... and then CSS became the big thing... later mixing in a little php to things interesting and even some SQL for database management.... all this also as amature as luna...
But the bread and butter of my time spent programming was using bash, ruby, perl, python, and C+ to do neat things with linux.. which helps tremendously with the job I do now... :) furthermore... the majority of this was also selftought via google and library books (as it is with any self respecting programmer).
Now that I'm done writing a resume... let me say I'm not downing her brother for his abilities... infact the site is fairly impressive to be made from scratch by a teenager, but truly it's nothing out of the norm these days... This was never meant as an insult, simply an observation that this site isn't being run by a professional staff... which is why it's still broken and unfinished.
As for the comment of me a grown man that spends all of his time on this forum... well that's simply untrue... I just happen to be quite good at multitasking... I am god after all. ;)

I said i learned everything from google and the library... but i said the only requirements were the ability to use google and do basic troubleshooting... which is what fixing a syntax error is... basic troubleshooting...
and i understand the significance of syntax sweety... but you can learn this stuff from google... how did your brother... the real brain behind the forum claim to learn everything? google and troubleshooting i'm sure... even if he was tought it at school... google and troubleshooting were requirements to further his knowledge base...
and i'm not saying it's some little thing... it is an undertaking... just like building a tree house it does require work and a bit of research, but that doesn't make it extraordinary... this is true of most things in life... rebuilding a car... building a computer from scratch, painting a house... people do these things every day... it's not special... it's just not being a lazy dirtybag...

Realized that the only thing precious in life was time... and that was the only thing that limited his ability to create... he used his time... That's the only thing that make great people great...
