Is it just me, but when I see an ad with people all happy I feel disgusted like its all fake despite it actually being fake I do this in all ads.
Then stop watching them. That's your problem right there.
The powers that be totally understand the strength of your tiny psyche at the end of the day flipping burgers, and they know, you have nothing to do except start a lengthy drooling process over bullshit fake lifestyle commercials with people dressed to the nines, who you are so instantly readily willing to believe these same people in real life would give you the time of fucking day as they ran over you and your shitty honda.
STOP WATCHING THEM.
There is only one lifestyle commercial that is worth anything.
A few months ago on the news, there was a segment on neck injuries and cell phones.
I'm sorry, but when I go walking around, I almost never see someone with thier head buried in a cell phone.
It's an urban myth that television and corporations would love you to believe, because if everyone else is doing it, it mean you will do it.
It's true, friends jump off bridges when they see their friends jump.
You can see it, evidenced in this trend.

I admit, if you ever go to one of those internet meet ups. Guaranteed, everyone will be buried in their cell phone.
That's a different segment of society, and it's going to hit a saturation point soon enough.

Now what they aren't telling you is this.
Brain cancer rates have risen by a quarter over the past three decades
In children under 15 years old, brain cancer is the second most common cancer after leukaemia, accounting for 18% of all newly diagnosed childhood cancers (averaged across the last five years). There were 217 newly diagnosed cases in this age group in England in 2010. For cancer deaths in childhood, brain cancer is the most common, accounting for a third of deaths. There were 76 deaths in England from brain cancer in 2010 in children under the age of 15.
Tell you what. Sleep with your head directly pressed against the wall outlet for a week, and tell me how you feel at the end of the week.
Doesn't anyone remember the warnings they'd slap on devices that emitted radiation back in the 70s and 80s? Well guess what? Those warnings silently went away with the advent of cell phones.
Do you know why houses are not built directly near high voltage power lines? YES, wake the fuck up.

Magnetic Field Exposure in Relation to Leukemia and Brain Cancer Mortality among Electric Utility Workers
In contrast to other studies, these data do not support an association between occupational magnetic field exposure and leukemia but do suggest a link to brain cancer.
Remember kiddies, back in the 50s, your mom didn't want you sitting too close to the TV for a reason. Back then, they were basically radiation machines. They had big huge yellow labels slapped on the back of them. Warning, this device emits radiation.
Don't press it against your head. Easy enough, and whatever you do, do not put your laptop anywhere near your genitals.
