by TryptamineThis is what I always thought of it. Although they probably wouldn't consider their differences to be a form of "disorder." I imagine they'd have thoughts such as "I just can't relate to these people," and "why are these people acting so weak?"
In reference to the OP...No, my significant others have never known I was a sociopath...because I've never been diagnosed as one. I think, for the most part, the word is slung around by disgruntled ex friends, lovers, etc... I've never bothered to look up any diagnosis online because I don't feel that I have anything wrong with me that requires a diagnosis and needs to be "fixed." Others that have known me may, or may not, disagree...but why would I care about their opinions?
