Which type of Satanist are you?
I class myself as a LaVeyan Satanist. I'm an Atheist but I have embraced the Satanist philosophy.
I don't agree with and follow everything Satanism teaches, but that's the great thing about it, it doesn't require you to accept all of it for burn. There's no literal God, just yourself, embracing the darker side of yourself that Religion has tried to suppress.
The thing that attracted me to it is when I watched a video including Anton LaVey talking about how Lust is just as prevalent within a human as love, if not more so.
It's something I always agreed with. Sex drive is an instinct. Love is an emotion. Both can be powerful forces.
I've always thought that sex drive and sexual attraction should be dictating your choice of a partner more than how much you appreciate their personality and how much you love them. People commit adultery due to unsatisfied sexual needs, it's not secret. You cannot just be with someone because they're nice, that's bullshit.
With this sort of "you should be with someone for how nice and appreciative they are" thing going around, it's no wonder 50% of marriages break up and mostly due to adultery.
