From nothing, back into nothing. I think that is such an interesting thing.
Hahaha
Your pseudo knowledge of the cosmos is really interesting but it has no implication with relation to the OP.
It's not a contradiction, sure we may not ever be free from it wholly however being aware of it and fighting it is something that brings freedom.
The very fact that our own consciousness can't fathom the idea of a world without it coupled with the knowledge of death leads to a state of limbo for itself.
We see how throughout time the constructs of man have been plagued by the will, the want and the need for immortality. The fight against the inevitable end state of all things.
The Chinese emperors of old with their absolute power and the Egyptian pharaohs did everything they could to preserve themselves, not within this conscious paradigm but in an attempt to reach a state of eternality.
All the world religions are all based on this idea with the promise of a cure for a end they gained followers.
Consciously or subconsciously you constantly act under the assumption that legacy is something to be desired.
I say let go, be free from it all, there is nothing but void past this. That is the beauty of it.
That is not a fact. A world without my consciousness would be a beautiful world. For me atleast.
No matter what legacy you leave behind eventually everything in this galaxy will be consumed by the black hole its spinning around. That and be thrown into the Andromeda galaxy.
You contradict yourself with the last few sentences. Beginning with "the very fact that..." And ending with proving that fact to merely be an opinion, by your own admission.
So I ask you, what are you afraid of?
If you think that's one of the first things you learn in physics you really should get a new teacher or start learning physics for real. Many of the speculations about black holes and none entropy-death end states to the universe don't take into account universal expansion, dark energy or dark matter. So to say that this would be one of the first things you learn where you study is absurd, do you even know how gravity works? The link you linked does not in anyway have anything to do with supermassive black holes.
Once again try reading more carefully, there is no contradiction although it is impossible to win the fight against this desire fighting it is necessary due to the mundane and pointlessness in striving for a life after this one (through a legacy or religion).
If you think that's psuedo knowledge, you just might be an idiot. It is a fact that our galaxy will collide with the Andromeda galaxy. It is a fact that every star and planet in this system will be consumed by a super massive blackhole. We can see both approaching, scientist have even managed to calculate when it will happen.

Everything being consumed by a supermassive blackhole is one of the first things you learn about the galaxy when taking physics.
It is a contradiction when you say something is an inescapable fact for everyone(first sentence) but it doesn't apply to you.(last few sentences)
It was quite nice to read but in the end it is only a single perspective among billions.
Freedom is not in anyway associated with legacy building or avoiding legacy building. Freedom is doing what you please regardless of who says what or what dogma prevails. Some people enjoy building things that last. That doesn't mean they're slaves. Some people enjoy doing nothing with their lives.
The thing is, you only have one life. Enjoy it, don't waste it trying to rebel against dogma that has no true value. That's like saying god doesn't exist but you believe in Satan.
