All these jobs are gone now and replaced by robot automated sorters. I've seen video footage of a fully automated mail sorting building.
I think it is quite literally close to impossible to have your mail lost in many situations.
It must be theft.
Besides the delivery drivers, this is what is now...
People with gurneys.
Where is it going to get lost exactly?
Guys, the Drones are seriously going to happen. If not this decade, it will happen.
by 3xpRess94That sucks, maybe you should forget about electonic devices completely, develop some good working habits, find something your passionate about, make a career for yourself and fuck off.
As it happens, my work habits involve what i'm somewhat passionate about already and that's how i make my living and stave off being a wage-slave. I trade my wares (self-manufactured and traded alike) via electronic devices on the global marketplace so there's not even a chance of forgetting about those. Also i love me some electronics. (Just a tad picky about them.)
make a career for yourself and fuck off.
You preaching to the choir, bambi. I'll paypal you good 10 guineas on the spot if you show me anyone more fucked-off from this shit than i am. ;)
Possibly. They routed it wrong, so I called them and had them re-route it to my local post office. Received there, it was never scanned in.
Postal workers in my area did not give a shit. I had packages worth hundreds of dollars that required my signature for the delivery to be complete. What does the guy do? Sets down my package, knocks on my door once, bolts. This is in an apartment complex notorious for parties, drugs, and antics of all sorts (seen a woman pissing in a stairwell once). It was a good thing I was there when he did his one knock at my door.
It was (still is) a HUGE outrage, even among buyers too (as it deteriorated the marketplace ethics pretty badly for all).
What lead to it -- pretty much a change in management (CEO) and a change of perspectives / aspirations brought on by the new management. They wanted to turn it into a homogenously 'amazon'-like retail warehouse of mass-merchandise - with which they succeeded pretty much indeed.
And it's been getting progressively worse ever since, with every new policy change. Sellers are leaving in droves, the problem is that the very few alternatives have none of the same visibility / turnover.
Both ebay and paypal are regarded as a scammers' paradise per their current "buyer wins all, no matter what" policies, if you have no moral scruples you can make a windfall just by being a buyer on ebay.
