"That money was then used to create a shipping label which I made multiple copies of."
This part is where all the issues are cropping up. Multiple boxes means multiple labels.
If you want one label, get a bigger box.
by TurncoatAs a seller, isn't it your responsibility to post the shipping costs for the buyer to pay?
Of course it is.
If you underestimate the shipping quote for any reason, you still have to suck it up.
(Or if you overcharge without refund, the buyer can ding your p&p rating which counts as a 'defect' towards suspension.)
by 3xpRess94It was my first fucking time selling an item. When you first had sex, did you last two or three hours? Yeah, I made a simple fucking mistake with the shipping. They have the item now, what's really the issue at hand now. $15 or somebody being a little whiny bitch for no reason.
You can call it whatever you like, it won't change how it works.
Also, $15 or $1.50 - the amount is irrelevant. You can't assume on the buyer's behalf - maybe $15 counts for them, maybe they're a stickler for principle, either way it's none of your business.
I'm a bit surprised tho how paypal didn't put a hold on the payment, they usually do that if it's a high-ticket sale with no previous selling history.
"It was my first fucking time selling an item."
Doesn't excuse the attitude you held at the buyer, nor how quickly you tried to make it out to not be your fault.
"When you first had sex, did you last two or three hours?"
Bad example. I couldn't get off the first week or so of sex, so... yes?
"Yeah, I made a simple fucking mistake with the shipping."
Everyone makes mistakes, but they don't handle it the way you did without expecting some backlash.
"They have the item now, what's really the issue at hand now."
The eBay people, the bad rating that'll be coming your way, and the $15 paid out of the other person's pocket unexpectedly after you stalled for a week to scrounge up six bucks.
"$15 or somebody being a little whiny bitch for no reason."
You're the one that's whining for not just "no reason", but for having refused to accept the blame to the point of attempting to redirect it towards the buyer in a variety of ways. Just pay the $15 and apologize for being bitchy about your own faults and you may get out of there with a neutral rating.
"Do you actually thing I give a fuck what you or the gay as people on eBay think about my ratings. Of course it will be my last time using eBay. I'm not going to waste my time dealing with what sounds like my fucking grandpa whining about the stupidest shit."
This is purely you speaking in the perspective of your own temper tantrum. Growing up might help you with future transactions, online or off.
As I thought, elaborating on the mistakes you made lead to you lashing at me similarly to how you lashed at the buyer.
This is now about a character flaw you have that's getting in the way of your ability to function within the real world being proxied through this eBay case since now the raging isn't just at the buyer that did nothing wrong.
Name calling even, you've got it bad~
