Romanian children are not the same as adult Gypsies who don't know how to close their mouths. 

That's because Romanian adults and adult Gypsies aren't the same. I have dated and fucked Romanians, and been to their country, and gypsies are just an ethnic minority. I guess you don't know when to "close your mouth" either, saying ignorant shit to an international readership makes you look dumb.

That'd depend on if telekinesis could be used to resist telekinesis from others, or if there were general ways to resist it or not.

Bioshock features it as one of Dr. Suchong's developments, and there's also the movie Chronicle that I'd argue is worth seeing for two media examples that don't try to make it feel comic book-y.
