Today, I saw my friend almost drowning by the river, an awful experience considering how I have no fucking idea how to go back home from the river, with that said I told my other friend to call a boat to help him up, the captain from said boat called us in to trap my friend in a safe part of the river in which the boat wouldn't crash against the rocks, we managed to do that by instructing him to grab a hold of a protruding rock almost next to the dock, now, the harsh part comes in, the captain informed us that when events like these happen, it usually takes a crane to get them out, fortunately today wasn't the case else I wouldn't have found my way home.
