The younger and sexier guy is me right?
The difference between critique and opinion (in my viewpoint) is that critique speaks for all tastes and opinion speaks only for the taste of the one expressing the respective opinion. Those who critique either have a job in that field (and are experts) or complete tards who cant tell the difference between themselves and others mentally.
You don't have to know how to cook to enjoy good food, or how to sing to enjoy a song, or how to make a movie to enjoy watching it. I disagree that people can't critic stuff unless they can do it themselves. Art is not just for the artist, it's for everyone who comes in contact with it. The second an artist makes his/her work public, they expect reactions and invite people to express their opinions on it.
I find it more snobbish to tell someone they can't have an opinion about art because they are unworthy of one.
(And yeah, I also thing that drawing is ugly.)
Thanks for proving my point. An artist would know the difference between AN OPINION and A CRITIQUE.
Just because you eat food doesn't mean you can go into a kitchen and tell the chef how to fix the food. THAT is a critique. You can tell the chef that it wasn't to your liking, that is an opinion and anyone can have one.
