I installed ubuntu 8 on my mac

and it came with firefox 3.0

I was trying to download chromium but then the wireless randomly stopped working

and the download failed

this was not a good idea

it said that the supported version for my model macbook pro 2,2 was ubuntu 8.10 ('intrepid ibex' or whatever the fuck) so yeah.. I'm highly dubious that a newer version would even boot.

I got the computer off some guy on craigslist for like 200 dollars, which is probably why it's such a shit.

Oh... I see your prob... 2,2 isn't all much to play on with Ubuntu. Maybe you need to rethink distributions here. Depends I guess what you need it for and stuff. How lightweight you want to go.

thankfully I have this pc that's not totally flaky all the time so I can still manage to post kek

 

I should just sell the pieceacrap mac, the only reason I even got it in the first place was because my probation officer took this computer. It's kind of redundant having two

 

well the audio doesn't work on this one since I broke the hardware like a fucking retard, but aside from that it's redundant

 

some dumbass gave this to me for 80 dollars because he thought it was broken because the battery was dead. Cost me like 15 dollars to replace it and now I could probably sell it for at least 400 lol
