It sounds way too bizarre. I could be wrong. I don't know.

The glue part sounds about right. Man those kids are screwed. They might get high off the solvent, but those residual glue particles are going to lodge in their brain, and I highly doubt that stuff is biodegradable. I am not a chemist, I don't know if residual can carry in the fumes of a solvent.
