Hi Dr. Clarfield,

I was hoping you could help me out tonight. You see I have a problem. I have been with my husband for a couple of years now. We first met on a mental health forum where he was dealing with feelings of homicidal thoughts and I worked very hard to help him with his issues. It wasn't always love at first sight but we quickly fell madly in love. Now I fear his homicidal thoughts have returned mostly because I am a controlling bitch and I made him get rid of his cat. What should I do to save my marriage that has eroded away because I'm a covert narcissist?

Dear Loveless, 

Oddly enough, I recently found myself in a nearly identical situation. My tactic was to manipulate my man  (so easy to do with men) into thinking it was his idea to give his cat to a 'better home'. We are currently in the process of combining households and I don't want his stinky old cat anywhere my precious furbabies (Dauchshunds). That beast will never see the inside of my house now and my husband will take the blame and hide his remorse. It's very simple and you seem like a strong capable woman. Please let me know how it turns out.

No, I've said many times that someone from RL knows that I use these forums under the username pink01. that happened because her and air had some similarities. I found out eight's info about a week ago...i'm not that abstract TC!
