I did this one on a vocaroo by request last year on PF. I need some more practice, but it might be ok for karaoke.

I did this one once at the pub at my uni. I thought I did ok, but my reception was a little chilly. I'll have to try it again sometime when I'm not trying to play for a room full of twentyish hipster brats.

My sister used to do this one. I could never quite get the timing right.

Yes, I've had some training. My range is about 3 octaves. Not spectacular, but I can carry a tune and I have a good ear. My natural voice is in the alto/ contralto range, with a break at the upper end. I'm ok to push it up higher, past my break for about an octave.

I would have loved to go for more training when I was younger and people might have actually paid to watch me. I know what you mean about the stage moms, tho. I've seen way too many of those, and way too many of their hysterical offspring for one lifetime. People get so weird when they think they might have talent. Like so what? It's like having big boobs. Lots of people have them. It doesn't give someone the right to be an asshole. And it doesn't give others the right to be assholes to the well endowed person.

I can see why people get stage fright.
