I think that some people simply have an outward center of control rather than an inner one. People always tell me that I never take responsibility for what I do, and I could kind of see how that could be true. I think that that carries over to things like self-esteem - I judge my worth based on other people's opinions of me, not my own use to myself. I also have an irritating tendency to automatically assume that people are telling the truth, even if what they are saying should not be true.

Thankfully, I don't overcompensate for this and I'm not a narcissistic faggot like Jimmy.
