Learn how to dress, walk and talk. Think about it :)

I don't know, the strict teachers, never liked me.

Oh, you could probably do the work? That works, but, you have to be careful not to burn out on the wrong things. That happens more than people believe.

Don't be creative.

Agree with everything.

Slow everything down. Repeat it to them until they are comfortable knowing that you know what is to be known, blah blah...

And bring them a gift once you're on top of things.

 Read about teaching strategies.  Read about learning styles.  Find your learning style.  Find a way to incorporate the knowledge in a paper or project in class.  Either way, the knowledge gained will produce a better student.

Read about leadership styles.  Find theirs.

1. Making a person believe that they can be a better person if they do what you want them to do. 

2. Making a person believe that they will be worse off if they don't do what you tell them to do.

3. Making a person believe that they will regret what they intend to do, as it is not what you want them to do.

Manipulation depends on the proper timing, proper place and proper time.

Everything else is decoration.

 Strict teachers thrive on control.  They love control.  Use yes and no when speaking and never cross your arms when talking. Don't use sir, etc.  Hand him power whenever possible and appropriate.  An example is handing in a poorly completed paper/project (make it decent).  Hand it in saying, "I know you have the power to give me a good or poor grade on this, but I wanted you to know a lot of my time went into gathering sources, etc.  But when I was ready to write it, my grandmother was having medical problems.  My mind just wasn't all there." The important part is handing him power to do with the paper what he wants (and letting him know you know it).  He will never let you earn anything (being strict), but he will always give you what you deserve.  Remember that.  Your grade will now be on a scale of what you deserve.
