Fun experiment for empaths

Imagine that right now you're actually in another planet, and that your eyes are just two cameras that you are viewing thru remotely, that they are just tools to view into a far far away world, recognize your presence in this hypotetical real planet of yours. Continue while also imagining that people in the world you're viewing thru the cameras are all actually robots who can imitate feelings and humanity but without a genuine drop of any. Now look up some sad stuff and see if you still can feel sympathy (but remember, imagine them as robots instead of real animals or hoomans). Enjoy your temporary sociopathy :D

You could always huff paint for the same stunning effect.

I believe what you are talking about is what killed that guy who made huge circles in the grass, for the aliens. What was that guys name, the one sending souls to burn in hell.

Looks like it gets really narrow at the top of that window.

The evidence portrays a man who has been virtually a pathological liar when it comes to his history, background and achievements. The writings and documents in evidence additionally reflect his egoism, greed, avarice, lust for power, and vindictiveness and aggressiveness against persons perceived by him to be disloyal or hostile. At the same time it appears that he is charismatic and highly capable of motivating, organizing, controlling, manipulating and inspiring his adherents. He has been referred to during the trial as a "genius," a "revered person," a man who was "viewed by his followers in awe." Obviously, he is and has been a very complex person and that complexity is further reflected in his alter ego, the Church of Scientology.[329]

Hubbard suffered further ill-health, including chronic pancreatitis, during his residence at Whispering Winds. He suffered a stroke on January 17, 1986, and died a week later.[288][301] His body was cremated following an autopsy and the ashes were scattered at sea.[302] Scientology leaders announced that his body had become an impediment to his work and that he had decided to "drop his body" to continue his research on another planet,[303] having "learned how to do it without a body".[304]

So the only question is, how bad do you want the other planet?

Net worth US$600 million[1], can't be wrong...

I don't think anyone here is really trying hard enough.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sokushinbutsu

Sokushinbutsu (即身仏?) refers to a practice of Buddhist monks observing austerity to the point of death and mummification. This process of self-mummification was mainly practiced in Yamagata in Northern Japan between the 11th and 19th century, by members of the Japanese Vajrayana school of Buddhism called Shingon ("True Word"). The practitioners of sokushinbutsu did not view this practice as an act of suicide, but rather as a form of further enlightenment.[1] Those who succeeded were revered, while those who failed were nevertheless respected for the effort.[citation needed]
