I've been told I look like many different celebrity women over the last 20 years. What I find interesting is how none of them look like each other at all imo. So I think that most people don't focus on the center of the face. Which is really weird considering that the eyes, nose, and mouth are what really make the face, to me anyway. Everyone says my two daughters look identical to me. They don't. My eldest has totally different eye shape, lips, and her nose especially is nothing like mine.... yet people continue to swear we could be twins.
I guess I have a hard time understanding why they can't see the obvious differences because I am a face person. I study every inch of a face and my face memory is pretty sharp. It wasn't until I was with someone who had a hard time recognizing faces that it even occurred to me that not everyone can recognize them so easily. If you were to take Julia Roberts and change her hair length and color, then add heavier makeup- it would totally throw this ex of mine, and he wouldn't be able to tell me who she was. I've noticed that the same people who are bad with faces, tend to be better at remembering numbers. Idk that's all just a guess. I'm too lazy to look up the science of this right now. Maybe Turncoat has nothing better to do, and finds a link to go with this rant...
Are faces a big deal to you, or is there some other area you focus on the most?
What celebrity, if any, are you told you look like and do you agree?
Here is one of the many I've been told I look like:
