Nope, it was Sinister doing it by hand. The spambot was able to get around the delay and cause multiple topics with the same link to be listed on the forum, causing an "Internal Server Error" when attempting to open them and making me unable to remove them. That was able to do some real damage, while what I dealt with yesterday was just... sad.
A "delete all posts by this user" button would make dealing with spam become so much faster, but that seems a bit risky without the ability to call the posts back.
There were 22 pages of one topic (save for a few variation posts of laughter and a few V's) repeatedly spammed. I wasn't online much that day from airport travel, and in my absence that happened.
It was being done on average with three accounts at a time manually to get around the 30 second delay, making for an average of one shitpost per 10 seconds, or 6 shitposts per minute. There's 35 topics per page, so that's over 700 of the same topic, an underestimation of 116 minutes (almost two hours) spent copy pasting something repeatedly.
I meanwhile can delete those topics ten at a time thanks to the use of tabs and a delay of as long as it'd take to change tabs and click "Delete Post", so while it wasn't much work for me to fix, it couldn't be fixed until I was back online.
