 I have recently come out of a bad relationship with a possibly sociopathic woman.  

What leads you to believe she was sociopathic?

It doesn't seem like moderation is high in this place

What leads you to believe she was sociopathic?

Her lack of empathy towards anybody, her constant boredom and need for excitement, and she had a traumatic event in her life that may have mentally scarred her.

How old are you/she and how long were you in a relationship with her for? I'm also curious as to what the traumatic event was if you wouldn't mind.

Though it is true that many sociopaths feel constant boredom and a need for stimulation, that isn't exclusive to them. Some people may just be thrill seekers or bore easily. However, the lack of empathy you say she had is interesting. Any examples?

Well, I can give you one that really got my attention. We were walking around the downtown area when I spotted a homeless amputee holding up a sign. I asked her if we should give him something, to which she replied "Fuck that, we're not going to give him shit" and then pulled me away. I thought about going back, but I decided it was too much trouble.

You can't put a time frame of how long you dated, why exactly? I get not revealing your age (if I had to guess I'd say early 20's), but I don't see the harm in revealing hers or the traumatic event of someone no one here knows or will ever know. If you thought it was to much trouble to go back and give a starving, amputee, homeless man some spare change, does that make you any better than her? She may have just been more blunt about not wanting to give the parasite anything.

You know what? You're absolutely right. I'll give myself a day to think things through, and devise the best way to explain the situation I was in. I personally don't think it would hurt to try. Yes, I have already gotten a taste of what it's like to be sent a dick pic, and it wasn't to my liking. Thanks for the advice though, I really appreciate it.
