Yes. Unfortunately, metal is not kind to older women. Angela is 41 and her health is slipping just enough to make touring exhausting for her. She will be moving into the production/management side of the industry. She'll do well. She was an Economics major. (I chuckle at her well rehearsed speeches about being an anarchist. Gotta love those northern European anarchists. Like what are you rebelling against? Free healthcare and an economic base that actually slants in favour of women? Oh... I know. you're rebelling against being tall blonde and hot? lol)
Alissa is the new blood. She was a Canadian Idol winner who jumped on an opportunity that put her right where the money is. A wise career move, imo. Money money money on the Swedish scene. The girl is my daughter's age and already at the top of her game.
I'm assuming that the little Canadian band she left replaced her bc they had to, not bc they wanted to. The new singer seems ok. Time will tell what kind of a fit she'll be.
lolwut? Is that a hidden message? The kid in the song is named Dexter.
Not me. I'm not Dexter. But this sock was inspired by his "Cake" thread. It's kinda my way of owning the constant taunts directed at my large ass and desire to pee on Instrument (but not the other stuff he's into 0_o) Then there's the excessively sweet girlie caricature some of the baddies keep trying to foist on to me in an attempt to lord their sociopathic superiority over those of us who experience teh feelz. I'm also mocking their fuktarded view of feelerz as people who fall in love with every hard dick that walks by and then go crying into their pillows every night about it. chortle
.
And I literally like cake.
Or maybe you just posted it bc it's a fun song. Yes it is. :D
After just finding these songs, I am surprised to find that Angela Gassow of Arch Enemy stepped down and Alissa White-Gluz is taking over lead vocals. It is also interesting that this also meant Alissa stepped away from The Agonist, the band she started and was lead vocals, and is replaced by some new lead vocalist, Vicky Psarakis. Lots of shuffling in this female vocal deathmetal scene.
