Pretty much that, mood swings, intoxicated states, or anything else where there's somewhat of a loss of control or perspective, but in general it could also apply to worrying about hindsight in advance.
I like these.

I don't really like this one though, I mean truth and reality are not objective things your perspective is the only valuable one. On the other hand I guess if you are delusional it would be different and the quote would be more applicable.
Perhaps I am interpreting it the wrong way.
I don't really follow other people's quotes (directly at least), so I guess I'm stuck with my own sort:
"Trust their actions, not their words."
"Questions are a powerful tool of persuasion."
"Don't trust yourself, you're just as capable of lying to you as anyone else."
"The appearance of the message matters more than the message itself."
"Risk analysis and a consequence based approach I get."
Well yeah, basically that. The worry however feels like it's about how I might view the present when it becomes the past as opposed to purely objective analysis. If I perceive something I did as a mistake it leads to some nagging self criticisms.
