i would like to believe i could be this tough hard gangster over lord but in reality i am this ghostly quiet white guy who is so introspective i am oblivious to others actions.
What image do you favor for yourself?
i like to look attractive. i don't try much more than that. i'm talking looking clean and healthy. some days i'm dressed like a (clean) homeless. i don't have a certain type of personality or look i'm trying to portray.
How much like that image do you believe you really are?
some days are better than others.
What are a few things you believe about yourself despite other people telling you they don't see you that way?
nothing.
How well do you think you see other people past the image they present?
people present images? haven't noticed.
"What image do you favor for yourself?"
A humble one that is calm and open to disclosing things. Ego is not pretty on me, I have nerves to cover for, and being unafraid of discussing topics makes me seem stronger.
"How much like that image do you believe you really are?"
It's like myself, but with the presentation cleaned up a bit. The things I cover for I see as unlike myself, seeing it more like maintaining myself as opposed to hiding aspects of who I am. My "image" is more about how I ought to be instead of how I wish others would see me, a standard I set for myself to keep myself better off. Life's shown why maintenance is worth keeping up on.
"What are a few things you believe about yourself despite other people telling you they don't see you that way?"
Pretty much any time someone tries to genuinely compliment me or say something about me is strong I can't seem to easily accept it. Accepting that I'm good at things makes me uncomfortable as I know I'm not as good as their words make me out to be, and if I am then whatever they're complimenting about me isn't actually that impressive since I am nothing special.
"How well do you think you see other people past the image they present?"
I tend to get to the bottom of that sort of thing overtime through one on one conversations, but that's mostly out of pushing for reciprocation out of people, challenging people, or enabling the willingness to talk about themselves that's already there. I could be better at that sort of thing, but where I am now seems to work pretty well.
"What image do you favor for yourself?"
I like to act and look like I make a lot more money than I really do. Everyone in my industry does the same thing. Appear more successful, in order to become more successful. Sometimes, I make a lot of money all at once, but I have to make it last until the next project.
"How much like that image do you believe you really are?"
I do a pretty good job of shopping "clearance" or sewing my own clothes, making my own home decor, and fixing things, so I don't have to buy new stuff all the time. I am not, however, swimming in cash or anything.
"What are a few things you believe about yourself despite other people telling you they don't see you that way?"
That I am capable of being scared, I guess? I carry myself so fearlessly, people think I am fearless.
"How well do you think you see other people past the image they present?"
Most of the time, very well. I have the grace not to mention it, though, because I could be called out, too, lol.
