"The hierarchy of this forum is puzzling."
The way everything here relates to something else is what keeps me interested with the dynamic here. It's roughly mappable patterns, behind the scenes conversations, varying levels of trust, knowing who can and can't keep a secret and why, yet it's all fairly shrouded at first glance from not reflecting a status quo based around rules. The range of variation's pretty large here compared to other forums I've seen.

"Do you feel you put more weight on the content of the poster or the person posting it?"
First the content, then the user. Once enough content's been posted by a person it flavors and gives a semblance of understanding their motivation behind doing it. After so many posts you can begin to expect them to behave in certain ways, but before they're known you're learning that from what they post. The content builds an impression basically.

I'll still read what the ones I don't take seriously say, but I do reply based on the user more than the message more often than not.

"I've devised a plan to citically and neutrally analyze every post. First, I'll always formulate my own opinion before reading anyone else's replies to avoid being affected by others. Second, I'll hide the name of the poster until I final moment. Third, I'll translate the posts into neutral language."
Good luck. If you succeed that'll be awesome but it's not always easy to divide yourself from what you're reading.
