The Minsk Ukrainian peace talks are nearing the 12th hour.

I support a diplomatic approach. You would have to be fucking insane to believe that supplying them with weapons (as the U.S. Proposes we do) will establish peace. It will only escalate the situation.

John McCain, that old warmonger, said that we should supply 'Defensive weapons.'

I'm getting real tired of this Orwellian speech. What the fuck is 'Defensive Weapons' exactly? What makes them any different from offensive weapons? It's just changing speech to make supplying weapons sound more appealing to the general population.

Kiev is killing innocents, and yet continues to lie about Russian involvement in the East... Which is entirely unfounded. The Russian passports Poroshenko Pulled up as evidence has been debunked, mainly because Russian soldiers have to give their passports in whilst they serve in the military. Russia has requested a copy of the passports and Kiev refuses... So it's pretty obvious they're bullshitting.

Then there's the lies about Russian tanks in Ukraine, which is also unfounded.
We have satellites capable of taking a perspicuous image of a child's bicycle in a drive way... You'd think we'd be able to get evidence of Russian tanks in Ukraine.

In regards to ISIS, which has made it's way back into the news again recently with the killing of the Jordanian pilot to which Jordan retaliated in the way ISIS wanted:

I think we should introduce a new model, something I call 'Regional Sovereignty'.
This grants certain regional autonomy, this would apply to places like Eastern Europe and the Arab world. It would remove the need for things like the Carter Doctrine, which basically declares the Middle East a US occupied region. It says that any third party who actively pursue interests in the Middle East, the US will retaliate with military force. That's obviously a very bad thing, nothing will ever be accomplished if foreign nations continue to pursue their interests in a region with enough conflicting interests as it stands.

So Jordan and Turkey could fight against ISIS, Iran and Israel would be able to fight against ISIS as well. The Saudis are out of the equation because they're funding ISIS... So these nations that hitherto have been enemies (Iran and Israel) would be able to join together to defeat groups like ISIS whom they mutually oppose.

This would obviously require stopping the illegal occupation of Palestine, otherwise you're only going to continue creating the conditions for Islamic extremism to exist.

ISIS is really just a reflection of us. We burn people alive from the confines of an F-15 or a drone... ISIS don't have that capability so they resort to petty methods of doing the same thing. That's what war is... A never ending cycle of terror, and it's the civilian population that pay the consequences of the constant escalation between the belligerents. It's simple responses, the west attacks knowing full well the response will be of a violent nature... It provides yet more justification for continuing imperialism in a way the population will approve of. That's what ISIS wants... It wants as many countries as possible to attack them, because the more countries that are killing innocent civilians the more recruits ISIS receives.
