Damn, I figured I'd do better than that... Looks like I need to brush up on my Paul Ekman skills.

It has been done here before... I think Postmodern said he got them all (34 or 36, something like that).  I missed two.  Really don't feel like doing it again.  Maybe later...

Yea... just like you to placate.  jhawk wouldn't know a psychopath if he saw one in the mirror.  Thanks though, Ed, Aspies do scare me a lot more than psychos.

Hey Tom. I remember you mentioning a story way back about how you use to lecture kids who joined the marines how it wouldn't make them a badass. You mentioned that if they pussied out the real deals would give theM something worse. That one always got me really curious on what you meant, could you explain?

some people think psychopathy is closely related to autism because they both have a difficulty recognising emotions (reading facial patterns). where as empathic people just tend to be more in touch with that intuitively. psychopaths and autistics can be tought to recognise them however. paul ekman has done alot of interesting research in this field. his work was also what inspired an excellent show called "lie to me" about a guy who miticulously studied how to detect lies in others. this is actually a field craft used by many field agents in our 3 letter agencies. (and I wouldn't be surprised at all if there were at least one of those in this forum.)

aspies also fall heavey on the autism spectrum for the same reason
