What's on your bookshelf/tablet

Revisiting an old forum thread with a twist...

So I'm having to dump all my books before I move out of the country. Too costly to have them shipped and I'm realizing how tablet technology makes it so much easier to move your books/movies/music around, now more than ever. Now I find myself cataloging all the books I need to download to replace their paper counterparts.

Do you still buy books?

Borrow from a library?

Download to a tablet?

What are the titles (top 5) in your collection?

I buy books sometimes. I mostly buy used books. Most books I read come from the library though.

I mostly buy non-fiction because I might not revisit novels so they aren't that important to keep. But I would also want a few to show what I like, to represent me.

But unfortunately my books are scattered and there is no order and the most striking with my home is lack of order.

In this room I mostly keep boring books, it just happened that way, books friends wanted to look at and they were just put up in the shelf here.

I have quite a few shelves of academic textbooks I never sold. They make me look smart but I've never really read any of them..ok maybe 1/4th I've read some of

Anyways, surely you were just referring to novels. I don't have any on my shelves but on my tablet I have 50 shades of grey and maybe dracula. I'd have to check

I don't read books really and I especially do not like fiction.

Do you have a fetish for books? lmao. There should be a no-return policy for books these days, otherwise you're going to find that the pages stick together.

Clive Barker, eh? I've always associated him with elderly ladies because they are the only ones I've seen reading him. Maybe I'll check his stuff out and see what's up.

I read over a copy of Sun Tzu's Art of War almost every month
