There is no such thing as a 'why' when it comes to understanding the universe and our being. 'Why?' Is a human concept. It does not apply to the universe. We have anthropomorphised the universe and we have duped ourselves into believing the universe has a reason to exist. Mainly because we live lives of order.
We wake up, eat when we're hungry, sleep when we are tired and live somewhat predictable lives. All of this is because of self awareness. Because of consciousness. We have the ability to understand what we are, we can imagine ourselves in situations, we understand our roles in certain circumstances.
We make the mistake of applying this human logic to something inanimate. Something that has no consciousness.
Asking "Why are we here?" And "What does this all mean?." Are entirely fallacious things to say. They're logically flawed questions.
