I think it is natural to want to spend time with a loved one. I think it becomes clingy when each person doesn't have a life outside of one another.

I look at the Honeymoon Phase as a cover up for clingy people

I bet there are neurotransmitters that shut off prematurely. I am sure with the right drugs, those reservoirs could be filled up and replenished and a honeymoon period could be indefinite.

 Yes indeed, you're right!

The gibbous moon, even though much more often seen than either the crescent or the full, is grossly underrepresented. You won't see many artworks picturing it, it's always either the full or the crescent. Guess it's because it is sort of potato shaped so it never made it into the common iconography as "the moon" - despite it being more common as the other phases.

And while we are at it ---

I prefer the gibbous and full phases when it comes to the Moon.
