What would you say you are?
A choice. Went from atheist, to agnostic, was raised to be catholic.
@guy who thinks the bible is worthless shit.
I'm not saying anything other than, "what if", the bible is true, and we collectively as a bunch of idiots have translated it incorrectly.
Example, this bible is a different translation of the New Testament, and it uses the word vampire where no other bible does.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moffatt,_New_Translation
I'm suggesting to you, that, and really think fucking hard because I am not going to try to explain this to you again.
Lord != God
God != Satan
Satan != Lord
and so on...
What do you think of, when you hear the word LORD.
Does that mean that the word LORD in the bible means something like that?
Probably yes, because whatever the ancient Hebrew word IUDSHGSDHV (I don't know how to write hebrew) meant, the translators probably did thier best to use a word in the English language which best represents the ancient Hebrew language word.
Well now you are probably saying, that's fuckign stupid right? Who would translate an ancient word into "Vampire"?
Probably someone who had extensive knowledge of ancient peoples who sacrificed humans and drank their blood.
I will tell you what is stupid.
Passages in the Bible which refer to three distinctly different words. Lord, God, Satan, and we collectively believe these three things to mean the same single thing. At best we only have the ability with our current feeble minds to understand them as possibly two different things, because we for some strange reason cannot fathom the idea that God and Lord are two different things.
They are in fact, three different words. Which means, each word is referencing a different thing.
This is a Lord.

He is not God, he not Satan. He is a Lord.
http://www.philhine.org.uk/writings/tt_wrathful.html
Bhairava is Shiva at his most terrifying, at his most fearful. Dogs (particularly black dogs) were often considered the most appropriate form of sacrifice to Bhairava, and he is sometimes shown as holding a severed human head, with a dog waiting at one side, in order to catch the blood from the head.
He probably sat in a tower on top of some pyramid type structure, and ate human sacrifice. Like a fucking vampire.
To be specific. I am not saying Lord = vampire. I haven't read far enough into things. I only know that human sacrifice to the "Lord" or to the "Gods" was very common across cultures, and Vampire is used in at least one version of the bible.
by NojuanEspecialRegardless of your feeling on the word "Lord", the Book of Job is Old Testament. Jesus hadn't been created yet, so the only "Lord" who would be talking to Satan would be God.
Look I can understand your perspective, because the second anyone tries to validify anything to do with the bible, you see that as me being some type of jesus hare chrisnia or something. No.
When someone says, "We worship the Lord, our God".
I see that as total devotion to an Earth bound ruler of a society.
When someone such as Job, refers to a God, I am supposing he has blind faith and is a heretic towards the Lord, who demands that all bow down to him and treat him as a God.
Now, if you will allow me to exercise Agnosticism. Well, fucking wake up, maybe the Lord is using magic? Not medicine magic, but true and genuine spiritual magic?
If not, maybe he is just using tricks like a magician with mirrors, or maybe he knows how to inflict sores on a slave with some sort of magic powder or something? I don't know for sure.
That doesn't sound like spatial to me, I'd say that's you projecting your shit but w/e float that boat of yours.
It's not that you can't make yourself understood that's the issue. It's the fact that if you'd relax and speak your mind properly about something interesting, less intelligent people will have a hard time following your logic.
I am not saying that it is hard to get along with people, I am saying that "they" are unable to entertain me when I crave intelligent conversations. They can be used in other ways, and toyed with, but that is irrelevant to the point.
That doesn't necessarily corelate, not listen to the dull people, sometimes they of course have insight and of course can offer their views. You are jumping to conclusions. Listening to people, understanding them, is important for growth. Doesn't mean it is fun and entertaining, yeah?
