You throw yourself into work to make a difference, help people, to achieve something. But what do you get? You learn that the only thing that counts is the ability to fit into the system.
The first few years, the effects aren't that noticeable, but over time they get to you. When you're young you take battle. As you get older you learn to choose which battles are worth fought. Most aren't. Eventually there comes a time when you start to think that, despite having exactly the same need to make a difference, you get fully aware that it's futile. Stupid people wont ever learn.
