I met a man in Hawaii. He was coincidentally from my home state. He had moved there with his wife and she left him. He stayed. He did construction and blamed Obama.Obama took his job. He told me, "You know that bridge you just drove over? I laid that concrete." He was with his girl friend and she was nice. We talked. I argued politics with him. She didn't seem to mind me arguing with her BF.

It was ironic, seriously. My life plays over and over again on an endless loop.

Good thing I am crazy or I would seriously go crazy.

I also met a woman from Idaho. And I asked if she liked her White supremicists? He husband patted her arm. She said, "If you stay off their land they won't mess with you."

This is why I love to travel. True stories. Happened very recently.

I hope my luck holds out. I have a HUGE mouth.

I currently live in a... not so big town... and the nature around it looks similar to this:

I wouldn't mind living in the Chernobyl area. There is a lot of now untouched nature there now. I doubt I would end up with more illness than I already have. I would want to live in a house in the countryside there.

Really anywhere where there are no people and I can hunt, fish and grow things. The place needs to be able to support two ponies though.

"Isn't Chernobyl empty because it's still radioactive?"

That's not the case, the place still has some radiation but nothing too high. Hell they have tour guides that even go into parts of the reactor. Homeless people live in Chernobyl as well, the radiation is at the point to where you'd die in 20-30 years if you lived there and ate from the resources there.

People always ask me why Chernobyl, there's so many things about that place i'll make a thread  about it tomorrow. but until then here's just one of the great mysteries inside this area. Consider it a teaser.

What you are looking at is a phenomenon called elephants foot. It weighs hundreds of tons and is only a few meters across. You cannot look at it, simply glancing at the elephants foot will kill you. It's nicknamed the medusa for that very reason. The picture above was taken through a mirror around a corner of a hallway because the initial camera sent to take the picture exploded from the intense radiation.
