IQ, upbringing, temperament, genetic loading. The same reasons why some "neurotypicals" are successful and others bomb out.

Also, there are things that are awarded in Westernized societies. Other things are Illegal.

Some of these are what "Successful" sociopaths do- Join the military, Become a Ceo, Go into banking, Become a celebrity.

Unsuccessful ones- Murder people, Become a gang leader, Steal, Become a serial killer.

Nurture

In my opinion, the only defining difference between those who succeed and those who don't depends on how much certain traits are affecting their behavior.

For example; a psychopath with poor behavioral controls and impulsivity can have a negative affect on their self-control and how they relate to others. They are less likely to succeed if those negative traits are quite strong.

The higher someone scores on the PCL-R, the less sophisticated and less successful they are likely to be in society because those negative traits will be affecting them much more than those who score lower on it.

I really don't know if this topic has been discussed here or not. Anyway, I found some interesting and inspirational quotes and they gave me an idea to start a new thread.

The powerful and successful sociopaths???

i.e. serial killers, criminals and etc. 

Why are the first ones so successful, rich and powerful??? 

If all of them are sociopaths, why are the last ones in jail and not living a successful life???
