It'd be so much easier if I could edit out details from posts instead of something as primitive as full blown deletion, as then I could keep the topics in place with the history kept intact as much as humanly possible. Having to follow a protocol that goes against my own beliefs sucks, but oh well, it's gone.

 Darn, that was in fact a good thread - turned into a good thread, i mean. Shame it's all gone now, i meant only the name / address to be edited out...  

I feel you there, one of the reasons i'd never be a mod anywhere.

I don't have the deficiency now, but before learning about it I reflected a heightened level of depravity.

Today I was banned from PF for the second time, for suggesting people to post in the poetry section, or for posting a graphic gif. Not sure which.

Either way, those fgt moderators can go to hell

If wooster's allowed to request on somebody else's behalf that you delete an entire thread bc it contains personal info, then so am I.

This bullshit all started when I defended LittleArcher. Might as well do the job properly.

I'm requesting on her behalf that you delete the thread with her pics and personal info.

That's annoying indeed - is it a system glitch, or was intended like that?

I mean if you alter (edit) content in the first post / title, does it make the whole topic disappear? 

wooster just did. She requested on wahoo and macaria's behalf that he delete the thread originally posted by some person who called him/herself "listerinefresh"

And tc deleted the entire thread.

i don't think any requests on behalf's should be taken seriously. that could create more problems, as the person the request was made for may not want anything deleted.

i feel like you're going to make yourself a huge target. just focus on your info that you want kept private, don't worry about anyone else.

I warned her about that before deleting anything, but she still wanted it gone. I can't help but feel she wants to be focused on.

I'm not leaving permanently. Just for the holidays.

When I come back once or twice/ week to check up on PM and whatnot, I don't want it to be an all day cleanup event.
