What would it look like? How to prevent relapsing into the arms of a sadist?

Is there a cure for Stockholm syndrome, or just managing it with low levels of pain masochists would both enjoy and tolerate?

There are therapists that advertise themselves as pro-BDSM in the field who'd likely be the sort of thing you're talking about. I'd imagine it being about attempting to separate the interest from the event.

Looking up "BDSM Therapist" on google brought up Kink Friendly Therapy.

What are they needing rehab for exactly, past sessions that went too far?

Yes, perhaps emotional or physical abuse that went too far, had really bad consequences in the long term, but they are somehow still attracted to torture after all

I think there is a difference between emotional and sexual masochism. I'm sure there are overlaps, but I don't have experience with the former. I wonder sometimes whether people get caught up in abusive relationships because they haven't found a partner who can provide for those base urges in a "safe" way. Then again, people who want to be emotionally abused are most likely re-living trauma patterns they experienced early in life. Perhaps sexual masochism is a sublimation of that. The problem with that theory is that not all sadists and masochists were abused.

Sadism and masochism are listed in the DSM, right alongside paedophilia and exhibitionism. However, "sexual preferences that seem unusual to another person or health care practitioner do not constitute paraphilia simply because they are unusual. The arousal patterns are considered pathologic only when the following apply: 1) They become obligatory for sexual functioning (ie, erection or orgasm cannot occur without the stimulus). 2) They involve inappropriate partners (eg, children, nonconsenting adults). 3) They cause significant distress or impairment in social, occupational, or other important areas of functioning." (Merck Manual) Furthermore, a distinction is made between "major" and "minor" acts of sexual sadism.

I don't feel  weak when play either role. The ignorance is so disgusting im wondering if it'll be placed in te DSM like homosexuality was

Hell, yeah. Recently there was a controversy in the news on the subject and many people I know- nice, otherwise logical folks- made some of the most absurd comments... Concerning sexual sadists, in particular... We're all sick, deserving to be jailed, what we do in the bedroom should be illegal... And as for sexual masochists; we're all psychologically damaged, weak, exploited victims.... So much ignorance.
