I have been pretty empty for as long as I can remember, filled mostly with hatred and lack of any empathy. You couldn't excite me about anything, I felt like I deserved it anyways. I was working today (still am 5am -8pm) and as I was doing my job I found myself doing some things I had never done before, I was connecting computers to satellites. Among many other technical things. And for a brief moment I was genuinely happy, I was excited about what I was doing. I want more of that feeling, I can't remember having it at any point of my life before.

You are being trusted with significant responsabilities and your value is being recognized, after a lot of hard work and pain. It's proving your worth, being proud of where you are, and of being there through your own merits.

BTW, hacking your computer wouldn't give anyone access to info on US military satellites, right? :D

Those rare moments of feeling can feel so profound. Even the really crippling times I find far more meaningful than the monotony I'm used to, as at least during those moments it feels like actually being alive instead of just merely existing.

You think your case can be replicated?

You are sexually frustrated. I can tell by your post. The satellites are representative of the female figure in its prime. If you have sex with a young Italian girl that's a hedonist you will be fine.

I'm hooked, I want to chase is like heroin. I am sure if I continue to do positive things for myself I'll continue feeling it. Never really felt genuinely good about something I achieved that would seem so small. The only other time I felt this was at the end of the crucible during boot camp.

The over/under is 6 months until you get popped on a piss test and booted.

My personal computer isn't linked to.the military. Can't really say much else

Perhaps you people are not like me, but I feel an intense rush of joy sometimes when I achieve things or make things go my way. At those times I feel very much alive and that I can do anything.
