"Even though I've ever made out with a girl in my life, I could feel her tongue and her teeth with my mouth and her breathing going faster, and us exchanging the ice cream back and forth with our mouths."
Her teeth?
There's no need for an introduction. I'll just skip to the good stuff, and answer any questions you guys have about me. I tried not to omit anything, even if it sounded weird or disgusting after I woke up.
The parts that I could remember about my dream, that really struck a cord with me, was when I was the passenger of a car driving down some unknown road. I was with four other people, including my best friend, the driver, and two girls. I was having a conversation with one of the girls who was somewhat short and had black hair. For some reason, even though I've never seen this girl in my life I felt very warm towards her. As you people know, there's a difference between your heart skipping a beat when you see an extremely attractive girl, and looking at a girl that you're pretty much in love with.
Anyway, she was asking me to look at her toes (she wasn't wearing shoes). I saw that her toenails were unevenly cut, and I joked with her that she needed to cut the toenails on a couple of her toes. Then, she asked me to look at her hand, which was dry around the knuckle areas, and you could see that the fingernails and parts of the skin on the fingertips were bitten off (a mild case of dermatophagia). I was surprised to see her hand looking like that, because I had almost the exact same thing on my hands, except in my case I had a cut on my last knuckle due to an eczema spell. I showed her my hand, and I guess she was happy to see that we had something identical.
For some reason, I was eating some chocolate ice cream, and I had the (bright?) idea of making out with her with the ice cream in my mouth. She could tell what I wanted, because she gave me the bedroom eyes, and we started making out. Even though I've ever made out with a girl in my life, I could feel her tongue and her teeth with my mouth and her breathing going faster, and us exchanging the ice cream back and forth with our mouths. We made out for a good minute, and I guess by that time we had both swallowed the ice cream. My friend was looking at me with this bewildered stare, probably thinking he should do the same with the other girl. At the end of the dream, we stopped for some food and that's all I remember.
What I don't understand is how my dream relates to what's going on in my life. Just so everyone's clear, I do have mild dermatophagia, and have had eczema around my knuckles. I've never had a scat fetish, and never will. This girl was not someone I knew, yet when I checked dreammoods.com they assumed that you knew the person you were making out with. I have quite the fascination with dreams, I know.
"What I don't understand is how my dream relates to what's going on in my life."
It doesn't have to relate to your life, on occasion our dreams show us our true desires. I'm sure you've had something you wanted badly enough and then dreamed about it right? Perhaps you really want to be in a relationship.
"This girl was not someone I knew, yet when I checked dreammoods.com they assumed that you knew the person you were making out with"
There's some evidence behind this theory but I've never checked out in depth myself. But I read somewhere that every face you've seen in a dream is someone you have seen in life. Whether it be over the span of a couple years or if you glanced for a second. Something to do with the brain not able to replicate the fine features of the face.
"I have quite the fascination with dreams, I know."
I don't see why. It was a pretty cut and dry dream that revolved around you being intimate and relating with someone. Doesn't sound too out of the ordinary when relating to other stories.
I had a dream last night that I installed Cyanogenmod on my phone.
In reality, my phone is not one of the officially supported models, and I am not sure if Cyanogen would work on it. But in the dream, it installed perfectly, and I saw the little blue face when I booted up my phone.
What does that mean? Is it an omen? Should I actually try to install it?? What is the Universe trying to tell me about my phone? I do not know what to make of it. Someone help me!!
"As you people know, there's a difference between your heart skipping a beat when you see an extremely attractive girl, and looking at a girl that you're pretty much in love with."
"You people"? Not even to bring up the usual joke attached to that phrase, but how are we better off recognizing that difference from other people?
Beyond that, I don't believe that interpreting dreams will tell you much more than interpreting tripping out on hallucinogenic drugs, so at best you're likely to just learn small pieces about yourself you likely already know, or take in another's explanation like it's fact to the point of appropriating it into your life through gullibility.
"What I don't understand is how my dream relates to what's going on in my life."
It doesn't necisarily have to. The closest connection to yourself it has is that it had to root from your own creativity to surface in the first place, since we can't really imagine what we have never fathomed ourselves.
How do you know these people were you and other people who you know?
I NEVER EVER, to my memory see anyone which is accurately a representation of someone I know. I mean I that is somewhat true, I can think of at least one "demon" or "demigod" in a dream, which in hindsight closely resembled someone I once knew.
Normally I try to rationalize what I am seeing, at which point what I have seen, becomes objects, places and people I may have previously experienced.
Have you considered that perhaps your abstract mind is interpreting electrical signals into ideas which you can understand, rather than your brain trying to communicate directly to you?
I tend to go through periods where I get closed eye visuals. Or I dream while awake. So after alot of that, it starts to become a question as to whether I am really seeing these images, or if I am seeing total abstractions and somehow creating images based of those abstractions. Ink Blots, for lack of better terms. I dunno.
What makes you so sure they are people who you know? Perhaps you are peering into a television signal that is causing electro magnetic interference in your brain?
Easy. The girl represents yourself. That's why you warmed to her immediately, You're not in love with yourself and that's the problem - you need to start showing yourself some more love. The car was leading you down an unknown road. Did that make you feel safe or afraid? Either way it suggests that it's time for you to take a different course of action in some part of your life. Each of your friends represents some part of yourself and could possibly tell you what that course of action may be. Think of their strongest and their weakest points. Is there something that you have, and don't, but want? Or maybe you share something you'd like to get rid of? Something that you shared with the girl (yourself) in the dream?
That'll be $100.00. You want my bank details so we can make the transaction?
