Orange dot means new posts, gray means no new posts, and green means
someone replied to your post. This is saved by user session, which means
this information is reset if the session is forgotten.

Sometimes I see green when it should be orange, then it might adjust itself after. Something like that. Over all Mike, nice work.

Edited the original post to reflect addressing a couple of update-related issues that have been brought up.

They are:

Issue 1: The status indicator shows green even if no one responded to the user's post. Fixed, the next weekly update will apply the fix.

Issue 2: Seemingly random users were experiencing a Server Error when attempting to view the forum. The gaze of sociopaths - too strong. Hotfixed 7/17.

Issue 3: Edits (like this one) will cause a topic to be bumped and this is not intended. Fixed, the next weekly update will apply the fix.

Still miss the quote function, and the forum search. Also, since you managed to do point h) (which is great), I think it wouldn't be that hard to make a "list of user X's posts" under each profile, and make it available for everyone to see.
