There's no point in showing him what's wrong. I'm usually very forgiving but he's beyond help.

I dunno, at least he tries. It beats "Zomg my smegma" and "Rofl banana!", but perhaps I am biased.

Did you really make a post praising humility, man? I've read some of the most stomach-turning self indulgent shit coming from you. You are delusional about your intellect and you think you're this weird god-messiah above everyone else, and you are far from being humble about it. It's the main reason you rub so many people the wrong way here.

For starters, this is the real Jack. The fake account has an underscore. It's quite simple to know I'm real. I have a message count of over 300, my first post which was quite popular has my name on it. All my previous posts have my name on the. Stretching back Months.

Now onto the topic: Why are people so egotistical these days? Why can't people be humble Instead of conceited? I think conceit is literally a virus to the human race. If we were to stop being prideful and cloak ourselves in humility we would be thousands of years more advanced. This is one of the reasons I dislike people. it's very contagious, you mustn't associate with these unclean people.

He's replied to me anyway, but yeah, he does cherry pick pretty hard. I assume it's intentional instead of unrealized.

I believe I'm a worthless piece of shit that's nothing. I have the potential to be a bad person like everybody else. I'm pretty serious about a lot of the stuff I say, but some of it is rightfully exaggerated. I can't recall saying "I'm the perfect human being", I think that was by the guy pretending to be me.

I'm not exactly the best looking... In my view I'm the perfect human being.

I always wear dark clothing, usually dark suits because it the outside is nothing. The outside is meaningless. I want to be loved for who I am inside, and I'm not entirely sure this person is ready for that yet.

Also,

I have become the most enlightened person in earth through reclusiveness and thought, I simply want others to share this with me. But they are afraid of the truth.

These are both fairly recent. I'm sure with a bit of digging I could pull up more examples.

If you have no pride, or love for yourself, then chances of you having any love for others or whether you have the ability to feel pride in group situations, is probably reduced.

Get the fuck away from the computer and go join a cult. Be a part of something.

http://www.etymonline.com/index.php?term=cult

cult (n.)
1610s, "worship," also "a particular form of worship," from French culte (17c.), from Latin cultus "care, labor; cultivation, culture; worship, reverence," originally "tended, cultivated," past participle of colere "to till" (see colony). Rare after 17c.; revived mid-19c. with reference to ancient or primitive rituals. Meaning "a devotion to a person or thing" is from 1829.
Cult. An organized group of people, religious or not, with whom you disagree. [Rawson]

It can be anything. A back to the land movement. A temporary autonomous zone, a green movement, a bizarre religion that grows marijuana and smokes sacrament daily while naked. I don't really care. I agree with whatever makes you find an ounce of appreciation for the life you have miraculously found among the chaos and randomness of the universe. Maybe you will walk away with a greater appreciation for yourself and others. Whatever culture you are a part of now just isn't cutting it.

I must be conceited because I don't even know what that word is supposed to mean.

http://www.etymonline.com/index.php?term=conceit

conceit (n.)
late 14c., "something formed in the mind, thought, notion," from conceiven (see conceive) based on analogy of deceit and receipt. Sense evolved from "something formed in the mind," to "fanciful or witty notion" (1510s), to "vanity" (c.1600) through shortening of self-conceit (1580s).

Modern definitions say it has to do with excessive pride.

I've always associated pride with being a love for oneself and the "pride" or the "lion pack" from which you came from.

I'd say if you don't have love for yourself and others you are one step away from being an NPD psychopath.

On the down side of things, I can definitely see conflict between various prides. So yes. Maybe that is why we are entering an age where violence, riots, war, revolts and so on is reaching significant historical levels.

On the other side of things. What cultures have more pride and is pride associated with violence, war and conflict? Would something such as dress codes effect the level of pride one has? Would co-ed education effect the level of pride one has?

What difference does conceit have in the greater scheme of things?
