Why is HD "breath taking"?

Well... I have never lost my breath watching HD. In fact, the increase in resolution is really negligible if you ask me.

Everywhere you read however, some monkey (ahem sociopath) has attached the word breathtaking immediately before the acronym HD.

Your thoughts on this?

Maybe I am not being sensitive enough to those who sell HD televisions? Maybe they truly feel they are breath taking and I am not being empathetic enough to their needs?

 

Now that I think about it, as a young child, while visiting epcot center, I remember watching a documentary in full 360 sound and 360 panoramic film. It opened my eyes, but let me assure you. I NEVER LOST MY BREATH. Really though, the anamatronic dinosaurs and sweet smell of smoke machines emulating an ancient swamp was closer to breath taking.

I thought it was a figure of speech.. Are things supposed to literally take your breath away? If so.. that's fucking stupid.

The closest thing I felt to "breathtaking" was during watching a 3d movie in the theater, and that was because a giant saw-teethed shark was coming to my face full-speed.

I had a breath taking moment this morning when I woke up, and my head was vibrating. Apparently it's some sort of epilepsy.

I've been prone to it my whole life, but now I am seriously fucked. I think my kidneys are nearly dead. They've been burning on and off for a few days now. I don't want to call the doctor, I don't want to go to emergency.

I think this lemon juice had better work.

You ever see those TV shows where they buy storage bins?

They find 40" televisions, that are a little heavy, and they are WORTHLESS.

I think that is highly offensive to every single manufacturer who spent millions of dollars bringing them the technology in the first place.

 

Reminder to everyone. That's over 1 Billion Huge TVs in the Trash. At least...

No. If I were technosexual,  I would have brought home one of those Sony or LG 4k screens. I'm happy with my Vizio smart tv. 

Amazing thing about Vizio, they've been mashing the lot including Samsung in various reviews, and they managed to sell these high quality screens for dirt cheap, Even your broke ass can get one !
