"Reminds me of Halloween"

I don't recall Halloween being so insulting, but I guess I don't really know your Halloween experience.

Why do you consider someone pretending to be someone else. Such a big deal?

Funny how you of all people would ask that question when you have made judgments yourself about others, accusing them of not being who they claim to be (specifically me). Remember this: "You do have mental health issues but ASPD-PSYCHOPATH are not one of them. You are exaggerated!!!."

Why is it okay for you to make such accusations, but it's not okay for others to make accusations about you?

For all we know you really are a fake (troll or puppet).

Especially considering the fact that, no one in here knows each other.

You would think that fact alone would make people stop and actually think, "Hey, I don't really know this person, so I won't assume to know who or what they are/have." But apparently, it doesn't.

I know it may be hard to believe, but some of us here are genuine.

We are not trolls or puppets, or delusional or fake. We are exactly who we claim to be, and some of us even have proof that could back that up if we wanted to, if we didn't care about losing our anonymity in the process.

"Why do you consider someone pretending to be someone else. Such a big deal?"
Because they're still a "someone" who is likely after something. Sometimes them having to make a puppet account is for the "freedom" to say what they want without their name attached to it, without their alias doubling as a signature, in a sense, a means to not take responsibility for their words. In such a case, users may find themselves being insulted by someone and have no idea who that someone is.

For those who care, that could become annoying.

"Especially considering the fact that, no one in here knows each other."
Those who fear puppets figure they know enough, or at least carry an agenda that might be unknown enough to them to find unsettling. They are after all other users here trying to gain info they'd likely not gain as themselves, if not trying to toy with users by being that much more anonymous, that once gained can be used as themselves. There's also when some users use them as vote fodder and fake wingmen, but that's something else altogether.

In a sense, what is accomplished by "puppet hunts"? The ability to attach the user's prime alias with the actions done under another.

That makes sense. I can see how it would be a game for some. Reminds me of Halloween

I have always been very uncomfortable around people with masks even as a kid.

 Why is that so?

I always found at least 8/10 of the general population looks much improved with masks on (instead of showing their own plain godgiven mug), so i feel a lot more comfortable/less repulsed at a carneval than at a bare-faced weekday.

Even so, having every word they say appear to come from an unmoving face...

If ever I am in Oz, I would let you know and check if you have time for dinner...I'm buying.

 Sounds good to me.
