I'd imagine such a person being more stuck focusing on the goals even when there's no chance of succeeding in them instead of becoming depressed (especially with the low IQ mentioning), but then again it's not like every "sociopath" thinks the same way.
I don't see anything in your description to suggest he's a sociopath at all.
my ex is a sociopath and he has no problem attracting women because he is really charismatic but he keeps getting fatter and fatter. like he is probably 6'4 340lbs now and he's only 20 years old. his IQ is low and he can't pay for college so he wants to lose weight and join the military or find a cougar to pay for him to go to school but i know he's too dumb to really do anything with his life or hold down a job. can circumstances like this cause a sociopath to become depressed?
They probably watch too many advertisements for food.
There is a long-held concern that youths who eat a lot of fast food are at risk for becoming overweight. New research to be presented Sunday, April 29, at the Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS) annual meeting in Boston shows that greater familiarity with fast-food restaurant advertising on television is associated with obesity in young people.
Obesity and psychopathy have no direct relation to my understanding, but, not all of them are violent.
Obesity can make you depressed. It is a disease. No joke, they have decided to start calling it, a disease.

The association voted on the measure Tuesday at its annual meeting in Chicago. The AMA noted that obesity rates in the United States have "doubled among adults in the last 20 years and tripled among children in a single generation" and that the World Health Organization, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and Internal Revenue Service already recognize the condition as a disease.
Obesity And Depression May Be Linked

New research indicates people who are obese may be more likely to become depressed, and people who are depressed may be more likely to become obese. People who are obese may be more likely to become depressed because they experience themselves as in poor health and are dissatisfied with their appearance. This occurrence was particularly prevalent among women and those of high socio-economic status.
