I've always had a problem with this question. Even as a kid when you were given the question "what do you want to be when you grow up" I could never settle on a job. I just want to be rich and not have my pursuit of knowledge inhibited by an 8 hour work day.

So $1,000,000 every time I exhale and double that when I inhale.

Fashion industry. 

Edit: As a designer, of course. 

Change the world with my technologies by at first collaborating with industries that have the power to produce my patented inventions.

Go on to create my own divisions that produce the kind of material ideas and items that pushes society ahead.

Once all of this is established. I would seek out happiness by getting my hands dirty in my think tanks and R&D departments. I would also make my own televised advertizements once or twice.

I don't see any of this as a job, just work that i give myself, it strikes me as a good deal cause I dislike repetitiveness and long terms.

When these things are done, I wont have much more time left. I like nice things for a short while before letting them go.

Now that you have your income as a sex worker, taking courses and making connections as a journalist shouldn't be too difficult.

Writing for travel magazines/e-zines doesn't pay very well, but you can probably fanaggle your accommodation and food expenses out of the people you're advertising for, no?

I already have the education but need to research and network, if I decide to go in that direction. Sex work allows me the freedom (in regards to time, income, independence, and mobility) to pursue other goals. I'd do it for paid expenses. As of now, I find a client or two to cover accommodations and other expenses when I do travel.

That question's a fun one to ask kids who are a little bent in the head. I wanted to be a Magician Detective when I was a kid, and I would have answered that way if I had any skill in either, since this question doesn't state that we'd automatically succeed at our choice.

Another person I know wanted to be a Robot when he grew up. I'm not entirely sure if he's dropped that desire...

Even as a kid when you were given the question "what do you want to be when you grow up" I could never settle on a job.

Years ago I was discussing that question at the dinner table with family. One of them said to me, "When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?"

I replied, "a serial killer"

That certainly got some looks, lol.
