"Hi, I'm new" - such a boring title.

Hello everybody.

I'm an italian girl and I'm kinda together with an american boy who lives in the same town as me.

After some months I got to find out that he suffers from Antisocial Personality Disorder, and I decided I was down with it, I mean...

yeah, he acts "weird" at times, he may be taciturn or quick-tempered, but we want to make things work therefore we try to

face problems day by day.

I just thought it could be useful for me, other than making some research, also to share my story with others and read from other

people's experience in order to learn something more.

Just be something CONSISTENTLY and I know what I am dealing with and can decide if I can handle it or not.

Just be truthful AKA be who you are.

So you want people to dumb it down to your level that you can handle it.

Y'know, a lot of people are truthfully and consistently multifaceted.  Maybe you should stick with those who aren't.

The hardest thing I think, to deal with in a relationship, is the feeling of not knowing your partner. That is the bottom line. You just don't know and that makes stability very hard.

Be an ass, be an angel, be a devil, be a saint, be shy, be outgoing,be sweet, be mean.

Just be something CONSISTENTLY and I know what I am dealing with and can decide if I can handle it or not. I made a reference to it in my thread 'new ear worm."

I can accept a lot of different types of people. Just be truthful AKA be who you are.

No. I prefer multi-faceted people. I am talking about people that have PD traits. I am implying that even those people who have traits that can be hard to deal with,  can be fine if  they are discussed between friends.

I try to change things I do if I know I am annoying my friends.

I have said "no one is perfect" on this site a million times. I am talking about myself as well.

hi there, lol.

Ehhmm....was he diagnosed by some psychiatrist??? If that's not the case, maybe he doesn't have ASPD....maybe he's just a little douche who needs a bit of discipline.

Good luck with your faggot, lol.

PS: Haha, don't get too involved. Keep your eyes wiiiiiide open, you might find a good replacement for your current BF soon, lol.

I know his parents made him go to a psychologist and then to a psychiatrist because of his behaviour when he was a kid. He still hates any kind of doctors, and if he can, avoids to go; but for real, there is not much of a story to tell. It went exactely how a diagnosis works. If you tell me exactly what you want to know, I'll see if I can without blurting out too many personal stuff XD

Thanks for all your answers!

Yes, he's been officially diagnosed.

I know, that's the reason why I live our relationship day

by day and I don't expect anything. I appreciate bad

moments ad much as good ones, I want to stay with

him so far and he wants to stay with me. We'll see in the

Future... I'll never pressure anyone.

That sounds like an interesting story, how much do you know about it?
