Sociopath Community

What drugs have you done and how did they affect you? So far you could be a lot of different things.

First of all to preface this, I'm not looking for a proffesional diagnosis, I am simply interested in what observations and input I can recieve about my situation from "genuine" sociopaths.

I have been on the fence about this for years. I am fairly certain I display at least some sociopathic tendencies but I am having diffuculty in fully analyzing my behavior. I generally lack empathy towards others and enjoy seeing people get what they deserve. I am also quite apathetic towards things that don't interest me. That being said, I have formed close and meaningful friendships in the past, like animals, and generally try not to harm other.

I find it diffucult to determine which of these actions are due to my "true" feelings and which are just a facade for my own benefit (I sometimes wonder if I maintain positive relations with those around me only because it could be beneficial to have people around me who have a good opinion of me or owe me favours in the future).

I don't feel overly "loving" towards my family. In fact, in most cases, I prefer as little contact with them as possible and go out of my way to isolate myself from them. Due to this, my dad has begun to view me as a cold person who doesn't care about him or the rest of my family. However, it's not as if I am completely apathetic towards them and I do care what happens to them (to a degree). I could care less about their day or the trivial things they might do from time to time but I wouldn't want to see them killed or hurt badly.

A bit on me: I was rasied in a normal enviroment though I did move considerably more than is probably the norm. I had/have plently of friends and I was never particularly popular or unpopular. I am often bored, be it with school or everyday life, and find it extremely diffucult to put any kind of motivation or effort into things that don't interest me. I think that most relationships/love are a waste of time. My intelligence is well above average but my grades can be subpar due to lack of effort on my part. I have experimented with various recreational drugs on a semiregular basis (mainly marijuana) but have  never considered it an act of escapism or addictions, more of curiosity. My personality type according to 16 Personalities is INTP.

Better not to know. Just live your life, nobody needs this "woo sociopathic" diagnoshit. What will it fucking help? Everybody is different. Some of us on this site are just different in a differenty different way. You can get a room full of people who self-diagnose socio and it'll be hell if you get them to have any more similarities than any other bunch of fucktards.
