Ex boyfriends are some of the most dangerous people out there. In fact 53.8 percent of all murders are by people you know, (boyfriend, neighbour, etc)

The police won't do anything until a crime is committed at which point it will be too late.

I pissed off my ex and he is threatening me that he is going to hurt me (but i have no evidence to take to the police) am i fucked? because i am living at my mom's apartment and i want to move in with a friend and have a life again but i'm scared and i think i'm probably being paranoid and i know he does NOT want to be in jail. i'm 20f and bpd and very self-destructive i completely asked for it by pissing him off but now i wish i didn't and i'm scared of him. advice please 

i dont think he will hurt you, there is some people that plans a lot and doesnt move a finger so i would suggest that you should stay calm.

It depends on what you did and his actual desire to get revenge, maybe he's just threatening you to leave you paranoid while he goes off to happy land, but if he's really pissed and has time to kill, he might just try to hurt you back in some indirect way that's not going to get him in jail (if he's smart). 

What did you do that pissed him off? Did you do it on purpose?

If I was you, I would just avoid him and go my own way for a long time.
