Watchword Jungian Personality Test

I did more work  than the people who made this fucking test lol.

Giant: Revenge

Dwarf: Spark

Soul: Never (Didn't quite get this one.. if anyone else has any input please feel free lol.)

Persona: Lie

Guide: Completion

Imago: Betray

Shadow: War

Spectre: Media (Clueless here too. Any ideas?)

Station: Impossible (Another mystery.)

Battle: Spite

Destiny: Adore

As for INFJ, being the most rare of all personalities feels so amazing. But I don't really understand how my opinion of several words, some of which I entered mindlessly, can really clue into my personality. This was the first personality test I have ever taken and although it looked very interesting I'm really not very impressed lol. But maybe one of you will find this interesting.

I'm more interested in the amount of people who changed their answers when they understood how the test works.

Indeed TK's choice of words seem like a well-rehearsed questionnaire for Match.com

Wtf. That's not how I see it...

I just chose words that reflect my personality because choosing other words like dog, cat, movie, etc. would have made no sense.

"Hahaha, it's a very cleverly designed prank to lure you into earnest introspection."

I'm meaning more closely to wondering how it'd affect the word choices themselves. Since it's the user itself mapping connections it'd come out with different words if the order was messed with specifically within the first two sets of eight. As you can see from looking at TK's choices for example, the results would more likely yield consistency, while others might wildly go into other areas.

The inputs matter as far as seeing what connections they pulled out of seemingly nothing. I don't care about the automation, I care about the words. The interactions between the words each person made reducing themselves to becoming progressively more conceptual shows a fragment of how they think.

"I propose a game within a game here"

I was hoping something like this would come about. I'd agree that it ought to be it's own topic if this one had enough life to warrant resisting a tangent.

Here's mine. To prevent tainting other people's results I have made this one a link instead of an image.

It gave me INFP this time.

Now you're talking TC. Most impressed with the distillation you linked, a synopsis of what they write lengthy exoteric dissertations about for laypeople.

I like that idea too, if anyone (hey TK?!!) cares to make  it into a thread of its own. Rules: 16 (2 x 8) words you throw in, then the players run with it through the test & see what surfaces.

They say language runs even deeper than blood.

Link - Estj this time? My personality type tends to jump around a little no matter what test i'm taking. I've gotten istp/estp the most overall, then estj/infp/enfj after that. Which makes little sense to me

 Not a bad link either!!!

Keep 'em coming.

My score is always a staunch 99.9 INTP on all traditional tests i ever took, this is the first one ever alluding to the E&S&F&J tail of the foodchain...

And therein lies the catch exactly. That's the failproof method to make people go full self-referential as opposed to 'random'.  TK is far from the only example, look at most of the others' entries  (Hayasa, Alan, TS)  - all big words of lofty existential concepts, as if they're trying to put a finger on their identities in the context of life, universe and everything.

You mean like my words Bored/Taste/Movie/Light/Zone/suit/mist//glide/humor etc? Yeah, I tried REALLY hard to refer to myself with all those big words I used. I even went as far as using words like Concentrate/Absorb/Villain to make sure I had words over 5 letters and which fully got all aspects of my "personality" in there. rolls eyes

I'll take this again later with the words you listed because I'm curious to see what happens, but I don't give much weight to any of this already. It was just a different and interesting change up from the normal barrage of tests we see around here.

You were one of the more relaxed testees indeed, but still. (And I will admit to you that i had to make an effort of sorts to come up with polysyllable words in my list above, they don't come naturally when you "empty your mind" so to speak.

I'm curious to see what happens

Me too, whether it lifts off to poetry from predictability.

but I don't give much weight to any of this already.

Nor should you. It's about levity.

Yes. I said as much myself earlier in the thread.  However, it appears to be oddly oblivious to the ~NT~ types but i don't hold it against it.  In fact i quite like this test.

I propose a game within a game here (almost tempted to make a new thread with it):  I reel off the 16  (two 8-sets)  primary-level words, and you all (well, whoever is game)  take the test with that set from the first association-level & onwards.  Here ya go:

ladder / visceral / plug / arid / before / swivel / apparition / grease

stock / awl / hinterland / canine / mimosa / there / berry / lawyer

(do not re-arrange the words into more associatively convenient couplings, take them as they come.  If you don't like this set, lemme know and I'll pop out a new one.)

I used those words and got ESTJ again...

I don't know why I keep getting that on this test. I'm not even an ESTJ. I'm ESTP.
