He killed his wife

Years ago he violently killed his first wife and served the time. I've asked him for regrets. He laughingly tells me he only regrets he didn't dig deeper. Says she was a terrible person and he did the world a favor. Murder aside, he's a great person. Everyone loves him that meets him... He's very charismatic. He's time and again come through for me; I can't question his devotion. But I do question his emotion. He tells me he loves me, but I think it's something other than love. He needs to be needed. He needs to be a hero. He needs his ego stroked. I do love him. And I stroke his ego as needed. But sometimes I worry that I'm playing with fire. Can a man do what he did and still be capable of love?  Can a person come back from that?

Imo, most people who murder there spouse do so because they aren't capable of finding any other options.  They feel as though there hands are tied.

He sounds like a clingy needy bitch. If you like being a caretaker you can let him suck at your tits until they're dry but he'll kill you once you can't cater to him anymore.

If he violently killed his wife how is he free now?

People kill for all kinds of reasons. Often times, people are driven to act by their emotions.

If he was capable of love before he killed his first wife, then he is certainly capable after it.

Murder won't change that.

Being that she was his wife, I'm sure he was charming, caring and came through for her at some point before he killed her. I doesn't matter if he can be rehabilitated, your directly risking your life for what? companionship?

I'm sure you've been told this by others already, you should to leave him.

His first wife? How many has he had and why did those end? Something tells me you're not married to him and if you are you're an even bigger idiot than I thought.

Murder aside, he's a great person.

The best I'm sure.

He tells me he loves me, but I think it's something other than love. He needs to be needed. He needs to be a hero. He needs his ego stroked. I do love him. And I stroke his ego as needed.

Yes, he needs to be needed, but do you need him?

Can you have an abortion and still adopt a kid and love it? Could you like broccoli, grow to hate it, and say you hate food entirely?

On a side not, has he ever abused you? Curious
